RE:    IRS Form 1099-MISC for Year 2000 - SS No.xxx-xx-xxxx

Dear Trustee Woo:

As you know, in February, 2001, you issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the year 2000 for the total amount of the income we received in settlement of various lawsuits. In order for me to prepare for either the arbitration hearings demanded, or for whatever legal action might be required if the Settlement Agreement is rescinded, I am requesting the following information:

1.       Did you issue the Form 1099-MISC based upon the sole advice of Steven Guttman, or was it based upon the opinion of Michelle Tucker, on behalf of Sterling & Tucker, the designated accountant for the Trustee?

2.       If your decision to issue this Form 1099-MISC was based upon a written opinion, would you please provide me with a copy of the opinion.
