JEFFREY J. HURD
Senior Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel
AIG Investments, New York
Mr. Hurd is Senior Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer and General
Counsel of AIG Investments, with responsibility for the management of the legal,
compliance, human resources, finance, and business strategy functions of the firm. He
is also a Deputy General Counsel of American International Group, Inc. He joined the
AIG Corporate Legal Department in 1998.
In 1999, he was named Associate General Counsel of AIG – Mergers & Acquisitions, with responsibility for all legal aspects of AIG's worldwide acquisition, disposition, joint venture and strategic investment activities. In 2003, he was named General Counsel of AIG Investments.
Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Hurd was in private practice at Morgan Lewis & Bockius in New York, focusing on private equity, M&A and other corporate transactions. He earned a BA, magna cum laude, in Political Science from Union College and a JD, cum laude, from New York University School of Law. Mr. Hurd is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is licensed to practice law in New York.

Jeffrey Hurd is expected to testify regarding American International Group’s alleged practices of bribery, bid rigging, over-charging, kickbacks, and other wrongful acts, in an alleged conspiracy with AIG, Ace, Allied World Assurance, Chubb Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, XL, Zurich and other insurance, accounting, and financial entities.
Jeffrey Hurd is also expected to testify regarding his financial, business, personal and professional relationships with Henry Paulson, Timothy Geithner, Robert Rubin, AIG, Robin Campaniano, Maurice “Hank” Greenberg, Marsh & McLennan, Mercer Consulting, Putnam Investments, Kroll Associates; Bank of Hawaii, Barack Obama, Citigroup; First Hawaiian Bank, Walter Dods, Carlyle Group, HonFed, Bank of Honolulu, William Simon, Sukamto Sia, Diane Plotts, Bob Awana, Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate; Nathan Aipa, Hamilton McCubbin, Dee Jay Mailer, Bruce Nakaoka, Eric Martinson, Mark McConaghy, Goldman Sachs; Michael Cherkasky; Chubb Group, Eliot Spitzer, James Duca, Hawaiian Airlines, Joshua Gotbaum, Aloha Airlines, Judge Robert Faris, David Farmer, Steven Guttman, and others to be named upon discovery.
