Peter W. Olson is a partner in the Litigation Department of Cades Schutte. His practice focuses on personal injury and product liability defense, mass media law, insurance law, and professional liability litigation.

Mr. Olson received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.

After serving on active duty with the U.S. Navy, he earned his law degree with distinction from The John Marshall Law School, where he received the Order of John Marshall and was an Associate Editor of The John Marshall Law Review. Mr. Olson is admitted to practice before all Hawaii courts, the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Olson is a member in the American Bar Association, Hawaii State Bar Association, where he is Co-chair of the Attorney-Client Relations Committee, Defense Research Institute, and Hawaii Defense Lawyers Associations.

Mr. Olson was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he taught Media and the Law.

Mr. Olson is a co-author of the Libel Defense Resource Center 50-State Survey of Media Libel Law, 50-State Survey of Media Privacy Law, and 50-State Survey of Employment Defamation and Privacy Law (Hawaii Chapters).

Peter Olson was apparently the attorney for my attorneys Greg Dunn and Bradley Tamm, in my professional liability claims against them for malpractice (see www.kycbs.net/Claims-Branch-Dunn-Tamm.htm ). Mr. Olson may, or may not, have been assigned to assist Mr. Dunn and Mr. Tamm by Attorney Liability Protection Society (ALPS). In any case, his providing of legal assistance to Greg Dunn and Bradley Tamm, and his direct, conspiratorial contacts with Trustee Mary Loo Woo and Steven Guttman on the instant case, constitute clear acts of bad faith, breach of professional ethics and breach of attorney-client privileges.
