MICHAEL E. RAWLINS
Michael Rawlins has been appointed to the Selection Committee to select a new Kamehameha Schools Trustee to replace outgoing trustee Constance Lau. Other members of the Selection Committee include Robert Alm, Dr. Claire Asam, George Freeland, Francis Keala, Melody MacKenzie, and Benjamin Matsubara.
Michael Rawlins also served on the original Trustee Selection Committee in 2000. Those committee members were Winona Beamer, Hawaiian educator; Michael Rawlins, Kamehameha Schools graduate; Colbert Matsumoto, former estate master; Melody MacKenzie, attorney; Kenneth Brown, local business executive and former legislator; Roy Benham, Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association Oahu region president; and Kelvin Taketa, Hawaii Community Foundation executive. These committee members were appointed by Judge Kevin Chang, in connection with EQ2048.
Michael Rawlins also previously served on the Trustee Compensation Committee in EQ2048, along with Allen K. Hoe and Colbert Matsumoto.

This witness is expected to testify regarding his business, professional, personal and political relationships with those parties underlined above, Gilbert Tam, Robert Kihune, Jeffrey Watanabe, Nathan Aipa, Colleen Wong, Diane Plotts, and others to be named upon discovery.
