Bernard Schwartz served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Loral Corporation, a leading defense electronics business, from 1972 to 1996.Mr. Schwartz also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of K&F Industries, Inc. a worldwide supplier of aircraft braking systems. In addition, Mr. Schwartz is a member of the Advisory Council at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University where he established a chair in political economy, a director of Reliance Group Holdings, Inc., a trustee of Mount Sinai-New York University Medical Center, a trustee of Thirteen/WNET and vice chairman of the New York Film Society. 1992
