Dear Attorney General Bennett:

This is to inquire into the status of my December 10, 2004 letter (copy attached) to your office requesting a criminal investigation into the activities of the referenced companies in the State of Hawaii.

Since several other states have already brought action and settled claims in the hundreds of millions dollars with some of these companies, I feel it is extremely important to Hawaii’s consumers and taxpayers that your office act immediately to take similar actions against any company that may be involved in bid-rigging, over-charging, bribery, kick-backs, racketeering, or other illegal activities.
