This is to inform you that the initial hearing in the reference arbitration was held on August 26, 2003, at 10:00 AM Hawaii Time, before Judith Neustadter.
At this hearing, I advised Ms. Neustadter that I was not yet represented by counsel and that I was still awaiting further responses to my tenders of defense from the insurance companies.
Due to the need to prepare pre-hearing position statements, specifications of claims and counterclaims, identification of witnesses and experts, etc. in accordance with an imminent time-table established by the arbitrator, may I please have your immediate reply to my letter dated June 3, 2003, regarding this claim.
