Dear Ms. Tius:


Since I have received no response from either you or your Lawyers’ Professional Liability Insurance carrier to my claim notice dated October 21, 2004, or from other parties with regard to my offer to attempt to negotiate a global, out-of-court settlement in these matters, it appears that I have no choice but to proceed with my claims against each party on a case-by-case basis. However, as I would still prefer to settle these claims quickly through negotiations with your Professional Liability Insurance carrier, I am hereby proposing the following settlement to you and your insurance company:


In settlement of all claims and damages against you and your law firm for pension plan fraud, tax fraud, racketeering, obstruction of justice, breach of attorney-client privilege, unfair claims practices, and various professional errors and omissions related to your handling of the subject cases, I will accept the sum of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($250,000). This amount, and all terms and conditions in any resultant settlement, are negotiable.
